So pretty! We're actually not far from Cape Cod (well, the northern part of the state...) but I've never been! I keep saying we'll do it soon :)

Sounds like you had a marvelous "escape." Sometimes those little get-a-ways are just what you need! I think you should publish a coffee-table book of photographs Lilian. I would buy a copy (perhaps for raising future Africa missions funds)!

Blessings,

Jennifer

Prachtige foto's !!

What a wonderful visit the Cape. And no crowds! We usually spend two weeks in Wellfleet every summer. It is so soothing to be near the ocean.

Brings back memories....

Groetjes, Lisette

wow! we have to visit cape cod sometime! that looks amazing. Love the pictures of the ocean and the buildings... they are very inspiring.

What an amazing getaway! Just beautiful! Your little one's curls are scrumptious. :)

Jaaaa, ik wil ook! Het ziet er echt heerlijk uit...

Mooi!! Wat een ongelooflijk mooie foto's!!! Ik zit echt even te genieten hier...!!

Thanks everyone for the sweet comments:-) I was so inspired there.

Beautiful! We went to Cape Cod a few years ago--- I absolutely love it there! Lovely photos and blog you have here!

I, in Michigan, am a displaced East Coaster... I love your photos of the shore.

Thank you for visiting woolnest! It makes me happy to know you've visited. :)

Beautiful photos they tell such a lovely story. Thank you for your kind words over on my blog. I could say all the same things about yours.

Oh, what lovely photos! And those wonderful curls on your sweet little one! We were just at the beach yesterday; I love it this time of year when there are so few people there.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Oh it looks so beautiful! I am glad you had such a relaxing time...

Gorgeous photos! We drove to Boston and stayed at Cape Cod for part of our honeymoon. It was wonderful.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Looks like you had a good time in the Cape. To answer your question, I don't speak Dutch, but I'm of Dutch heritage. My husband is a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church, which has a lot of Dutch immigrants in it, so that's where I came up with the title.

We went to the cape for the weekend after we got married - not really a honeymoon since it was only the legal marriage and then we're doing the whole white wedding thing back in england in the summer (once visa hoops have been jumped) but either way, I think I'll always think of cape cod as a magical honeymoon place. Looks like you guys had a great time also...

nice to 'meet' you too...glad to have found your blog. x
